The Patriots, The Media, Adalius Thomas

The coach of the New England Patriots Bill Belichick is never one to give too much information to the media about information on his players of the team as a whole. The players as well talk to the media almost like robots and say everything that Belichick would say. A lot of yes and no answers, no excuses, praise for the other team that we lose to, were preparing for the next game, so and so is questionable. If your a fan of the Patriots you have heard these things time and time again. Finally today I have found a human on the Patriots. Adalius Thomas lashed out against Bill Belichick to the media in the locker room yesterday saying: "Motivation is for kindergartners, I'm not a Kindergartner."

Well I'm pretty curious at how this ones going to be handled. As a fan of the Patriots myself I think Thomas was wrong here. He acts like he was the only one that was punished for being late to practice. There were three other Patriots that got sent home and we haven't heard a word from them yet. Personally, this is a perfect example of why Adalius Thomas has not fit well with the Patriots. He hasn't bought into Belichick's game plan on or off the field and I dont think he will be here much longer. I expect Belichick to comment on the matter soon, but only to say I will deal with this matter in house.

Brady BABY

So Big news today for all New Englanders. Tom Brady is now the father of his 2nd child, which just happens to be a boy. Now all we can hope that with the passing of time that the child loves football just like his father and Tom passes down all his football knowledge to him so we can have another Brady as our QB in 20 years or so.

No, no I'm just kidding around. In all honesty theres probably a good chance that he dosen't get into football. After all, if you try to follow in the footsteps of someone like Tom Brady that's a tough path to follow. His son is probably better off not playing football so he isn't constantly compared to his dad, but a I can dream can't I.

CLIMATE-GATE

Climate-GATE!!! Check out these videos below!

Has anyone heard about this Climate-Gate Story yet? The mainstream media seems to refuse to cover it as this video explains. The only news company that seems to be covering it is Fox News oddly enough. Who ever hasn't heard about this, basically there is A LOT of opposition towards the supposed Global warming. Apparently the story is that some hackers hacked and got emails between key scientists who have been studying global warming. Apparently these scientists have kept key information out of their reports about global warming, changed data around and thrown away key data away. People are saying that man made global warming is a scam. If not a scam it is being said that global warming has been far overblown. A lot of us may be sitting here thinking ya so what because we will never personally be affected by global warming even if it is true or not, but that's not true. We are all being affected here because there's a lot of tax money going towards this research. If these scientists are abusing their power and taking advantage of the people in order to make money, we are all being affected. Check out the videos they are all pretty interesting. Hopefully the media will start covering some of this soon because its a very important topic. Right now I'm sure a lot of people haven't heard about any of this.

Sex Sells

I thought I had seen it all when it came to sex sells until i picked up my newest Sports Illustrated magazine. In there was a add for PEAK antifreeze and coolant for automobiles. Danica Patrick, a woman Indy Car Driver is holding a bottle of this stuff and a headline reads: When you peak, you win. Could these company's get any more blatant when it comes to using sex to sell their products? I mean isn't there a way to see your products other than with sex. What does sex have to do with antifreeze and coolant? Absolutely nothing. I know this is probably a touchy subject but, I wish woman athletes wouldn't resort to this kind of advertising because they are using their bodies to make money. I feel like this is a big reason why woman's sports or woman in sports aren't taken as seriously as male sports or men in sports.

BR Football

Bridgewater-Raynem High School football plays Needham tonight at 7:45 pm at BR. This game is a huge game for BR. I will be working a shoot for BTV for this game and an earlier game between Cohasset and Holliston. These games are the semi-finals of the playoffs which means both winners will move onto the finals which takes place at Gillette Stadium. I'm really rooting for BR tonight because I have covered them all year and I would love to do a shoot at Gillette Stadium. I'm not sure how that is going to work out at Gillette if they win but I guess I will have to wait and see. If anyone is bored tonight go check out the game at BR, it should be a pretty good game they are a solid team. Gillette here I come!

Thanksgiving and the NFL

So the wonderful holiday of Thanksgiving is finally upon us. What a great holiday to sit and relax with family and eat a lot of great food. The other great thing about Thanksgiving is football of course. The games have been pretty interesting so far and there is still another one tonight to go.

As I'm writing this I was watching Chris Dotchery from American Idol playing at the halftime show of the Dallas and Oakland game. I'm not a big fan of that type of music, but he didn't do too bad of a job. This brings me to my point; the NFL has horrible music choices. They need to be a little more contemporary and have some more entertaining halftime shows. Over the past few years the music has been extremely mediocre. I blame it all on Janet Jackson and the stunt she pulled. Ever since then the music choices the NFL has chose has been pretty lame.
